Shuman excited about Gas City Opener

This Friday night I-69 Speedway in Gas City, Indiana will host their first wingless sprint car show of the season.

Casey Shuman from Tempe, Arizona will make his first sprint car appearance of the season. He will be entering his second year with famed car owner Paul Hazen.

Hazen has been Stealth faithful for quite sometime now running a four bar car with former driver Jon Stanbrough and now Shuman.

Over the winter Paul purchased the new 2K4 sprint design as his choice for the 2005 season.

The team tested at the Gas City open practice last weekend and the session went great.

"The car feels fantastic and it looks awesome" , says Shuman.

Casey also adds that this will be infact the "best stuff" he's ever driven.

"We won at Kokomo last year in the old four bar car , and cannot wait to race the new car".

"I just want to thank Paul for the oppurtunity and chance to run such nice equipment", says Shuman.

Casey kicked off '05 by putting the Felker/Stealth midget in the A-main at this year's Chili Bowl.

The Hazen # 57 Team plans on racing most of the Gas City,Putnamville, and Kokomo shows.

Other races will include some limited USAC Sprint Car events.
