Motorsports would like to congratulate Camden ,Ohio’s
Travis Gregg on his victory at the Homestead-Miami
100.
The former Lawrenceburg Speedway sprint car racer
scored his first career win in the Menard’s
Infiniti Pro Series .In fact, it was a 1-2 finish
for Sam Schmidt Motorsports with teammate Jaime Camara
finishing in the runner-up spot.
Gregg, driving the # 7 Lucas Oil Products/Sam Schmidt
Motorsports Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone qualified on
the pole and looked very impressive in only his fourth
series start.
Travis, who had been racing a Stealth sprint car
around the Lawrenceburg Speedway in Indiana scored
two wins before his Homestead-Miami triumph .
Many of the drivers in the Menard’s Infiniti
Pro Series have spent time on local dirt tracks.
2004 USAC National Sprint Car Champion Jay Drake
who is piloting the # 20 for Vision Racing. Also
former World of Outlaw regular P.J. Chesson is driving
the # 36 for Genoa Racing.
Travis Gregg and the Sam Schmidt Motorsports Team
are looking for another dominating performance as
the series head’s to Phoenix International Raceway
in Phoenix , Arizona.
